There are eight paths that contain five virtues that help one govern oneself and the outer world. The first virtue is non-injury and applies not only to others but to mankind, animal and plant kingdoms. The second is truthfulness and is honesty is said to be in ones words, thoughts and communication with others. The third is non-stealing and applies to obvious statements of material object that applies to taking from oneself or anything that is not ones. The fourth is God like conduct and is more to conduct oneself in a God like way or use ones sexual energy in a loving, nurturing way. The fifth is non-clinging and the ultimate form of non-attachment from material goods as well as attachment from limited thoughts.
Hatha yoga is one of the most common types of yoga and is used to maintain body and spirit positively.
